During this project I worked on the design, I didn’t perform the Art Direction.

You could think of a lot of times when you’d need some kind of form of moodboarding. While concept developing for inspiration or designing an interface to find color harmonies for instance. But not only then, you can make a moodboard just to create a mood and let it inspire you in any kind of way.

That’s what we’ve tried to do with Moodboarder.

You can fill in a keyword that you find interesting and based on that single word the system looks through some API’s to find results. It then quickly bursts the images into place. Just see for yourself ;), it’s fun to do!

You might’ve noticed it’s been in alpha release. We’re still working on it and we’d love to hear your feedback, some major things we’re working on are as follows: synonyme searching, easy selection of the images, second phase where you really build your moodboard and export it.

Everybody knows the term, tagging. Giving names with the help of keywords, so called tags. Tagspace is a new concept where users, whoever that might be, can add his or her website with the use of a keyword (that so called tag again). As long as the URL and Tag are unique the link can be added. The link then will appear on the homepage with a random style attached to it on which the user doesn’t have any influence. Eventually there will form a “tagcloud” with all the different links that will give the site a unique appearance.

My tasks during this project:
- Assisting in the concept development

The Snapp! project is a netwerk that consist out small websites, little tools. These website are placed on the subdomains of snapp.nl and are promoted as such. If there are some changes to the products that Snapp! offers I’ll add them to this post so keep looking here!

Prijsloos is a concept that’s pure for the dutch market, therefor I’m explaining it in dutch below but if you want some more information just send me a message via the contact option. Basically the concept is an index that can be filled with products that are completely free of charge. It’s only targeted on the dutch market.

Prijsloos is een project gebaseerd op het verkrijgen van gratis artikelen via het internet. Het updaten kan gemakkelijk via het centrale Studio56 CMS wat we hebben ontwikkeld en waar ik op een later tijdstip wat meer over zal vertellen. Op dit moment is de website wat gedateerd in verband met tijdgebrek. We zijn echter wel op zoek naar mensen die het leuk vinden deze website up-to-date te houden aangezien er, naar de statistieken gekeken, wel vraag naar is. Neem dus contact op als je je geroepen voelt!

Naast het webdesign wat ik verricht bij Studio56 ben ik ook werkzaam in de webhosting-sector. Dit is echter een extern bedrijf wat een nauw samenwerkingsverband vormt met de webdesign & development-tak. Hiervoor hebben wij uiteraard ook een website met bijbehorende huisstijl ontwikkeld.

Mijn taken tijdens dit project:
- Ontwerp huisstijl, logo en website
- Implementeren ontwerp in een werkende website
- Content uitwerken en implementeren

Isolated and other items.

Hoewel het opzetten van een bedrijf en het runnen hiervan geen project genoemd kan worden is de website die hier bij hoort wel een project. Dit project betrof dan ook het fabriceren van een vernieuwde website en huisstijl voor Studio56. Voor dit project konden wij ons helemaal laten gaan. Nadat de huisstijl ontworpen was hebben wij het ontwerp van de website zelf definitief opgezet. Zowel qua opmaak als techniek zit er veel tijd in de website. Met onder andere een zeer innovatief miniportfolio-systeem en een geheel eigen gecreëerd CMS (content management system). Met het CMS kunnen dus op een gemakkelijke manier, met een druk op de knop, nieuws en portfolio items worden toegevoegd.

Mijn taken bij dit project waren:
- Concept uitdenken
- Al het ontwerptechnische (Ontwerpen logo, huisstijl, website. Verwerken beeldmateriaal)
- Content schrijven

Studio56 heeft in de loop der jaren een hoop gezichten gehad. Ik kwam een aantal van deze gezichten tegen in een oudere folder en vond het wel interessant om ze te delen.
